THE MAYOR OF CAPANNORI VISIT TO THE STAFF OF GUALTIERO PASSANI.

The bad weather, better to say the storm of wind and water that had been proposed on September 19, had not allowed Luca Menesini to visit the Master's personal Passani set up in the venue Lorenzo Pacini Guamo Lucca. In the second round of the October 3, a beautiful sun was the setting for the meeting. This master Passani and the exhibition's curator Lorenzo Pacini and his collaborators have received very cordially the mayor of the town in a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere.

The painting of Walter Passani is not easy gliding like water, it requires intellectual effort and attention to be understood in its entirety. We are talking about 60 years of painting, 280 works spanning the entire second 900 'until 2013 Variable, genuine, instinctive and thoughtful at the same time almost maniacally, makes you enjoy all that the last century has managed to represent artistically between evolutions and genius.

Not for nothing Gualtiero Passani has studied painting a lot but equally, it is always interesting to art that surrounded him in all these years, he attended the likes of Ottone Rosai, Soffici, Moses Levy, Pablo Picasso, and everyone is compared, but a good "anarchist from Carrara" has freely operated his talent and created "his art" without intrusive contamination.

In his works, you can feel the freshness of Impressionist art, the warmth and passion of the most intense expressionism, witty lyricism that only the "Tuscan" is able to express. The abstract, figurative reworked in the exaltation of the interior, the harmonic decomposition of shapes and color. An impressive variety of subjects consistent with the intent of representing things and people in their true identity.

Luca Menesini did not disappoint the teacher, proved curious, sensitive and concerned. It was not declared "expert of Art", but more importantly, he tried to understand the steps of the various styles, proving willing to listen to what the teacher Passani confided. I'm sure I've understood the greatness of the artist who, finding an observer intelligent, has spared no answers to what the mayor asked, fulfilling many of his curiosity.

At the end of the visit, the teacher Passani has made a personal dedication to the mayor, the biographical book "Walter Passani, art in its vibrant passion", proving with this gesture esteem for the mayor.
